In addition to the changes introduced in phase 3, which require organisations to present an action plan detailing how they will implement any recommendations from their ESOS audits, including explanations for any recommended measures that will not be executed. Phase 4 of ESOS is set to bring about legislative changes that emphasise the importance of net zero considerations and accountability within organisations. In earlier phases, businesses could rely on Display Energy Certificates and Green Deal Assessments for compliance, but these methods will no longer be accepted in Phase 4.
